Thank You to Bonnie Marcus

Before we begin with our weekly posts, I must take a moment to say a public thank you to Bonnie Marcus of Bonnie Marcus Collection ~ "where fashion meets paper." Bonnie is the designer of our fabulous Posh Party Gal.

The reason I asked Bonnie to commission my Gal is because she has always been an inspiration to me. A woman with an idea and ambition eagerly brought her idea to life. Bonnie launched her amazing line of stationery and invitations right from her dining room table. Her designs are the epitome of chic and are displayed on everything from invitations to notepads, stationery, tote bags and more.

You can read about Bonnie and shop online by going to http://www.bonniemarcuscollection.com/.

Not only have they gone green with all of their papers, a percentage of your sale goes directly to Breast Cancer Research!

Thank you so much Bonnie!!

Couture Gowns in Palm Beach

There are many amazing bridal boutiques in South Florida. It's nice that one finally opened up around the corner. The Badgley Mischka Boutique has opened on Worth Avenue. So if you are in the market for couture, stop in and take a peak....

The Balancing Act

As a busy mom of 2 who runs a full time business, I always like to make sure I make time to give back to charitable causes. Especially around the holidays, it feels so good to do simple things - like donating some toys to toys for tots or feeding meals to the hungry. I try to make time to volunteer for charities, as well. I believe it is an important part of life and I feel like it makes me a better person.

Last week, I was featured on the Lifetime show, The Balancing Act. My "coffee talk" tip was about taking time to give back.

Take a look at the video:

party paper

I just acquired 2 of the most fabulous party invitations lines...I just had to share!
First, Karen Adams Designs - gorgeous invitations for all occasions, all with a touch of glitter (my favorite). Some of the invitations show intricate details like raffia, silk ribbons and real chains on little purses. So cute! What we also love about Karen Adams Designs is that all of her papers are Environmental Choice and/or made with Green energy. What could be better?!

The second line I am thrilled to showcase is the party album from Allie Munroe. Their invitations are sleek & modern with a punch of fun! I love how they mix printing in letterpress, offset, silk screening & engraving. Something so unique are the acrylic invitations - sure to surprise your guests. These lucite invites scream "unexpected' - wouldn't you love to be the one throwing that party!?!!

Both lines available at Posh Paper. Have a wonderful day!!

tropical decadence

Wanted to share this gorgeous cake by Sylvia Weinstock we had for a tropical themed wedding at the Breakers. Every flower on this cake is edible - made from sugar. It was like a piece of art in the room....almost too pretty to cut.

Chic Palm Beach

This beautiful event reflected a chic Palm Beach style. The crisp white with hues of pale pink & green really made this end of Spring affair. What I loved most about this event is how we carried out the Palm theme throughout the event. The 2-color engraved invitations and place cards all carried the same pink & green palm images. What set this party apart was the 2 long dais tables, as opposed to traditional rounds. We created a matching seating chart demonstrating where each guest would sit that matched the invitation, as well. All of the guests were strategically placed so they could mix and mingle amongst each other - so fun!! Due to bad weather, this beachy affair was moved indoors, but that didn't stop the decorators (Design Studio by the Breakers) from creating a swanky lounge ambiance for guests to enjoy in true Palm Beach fashion.
